Spinal Cord Recovery Specialists
Jenny Stanford (Lead Trainer)
Jenny comes to us from the UK where she was an integral staff member with Standing Start Spinal Cord Rehabilitation Centre. She was Lead Therapist with the Chelmsford Chieftains hockey team.
She is a Physiotherapist specialized in spinal cord injury and has been associated with Project Walk in San Diego training under Ted Dardzinski. Our clients have greatly benefited from Jenny’s years of experience and we are integrating her vision of moving forward with additional programs as new research and specialized equipment comes on stream.
Jenny works with the client to set the goals and supports their drive to regain and recover.
Jason Gray
Jason has been with P.A.T.H. since 2007, he is a certified Nurse Aide (Camosun College) and has 15 years’ experience with quadriplegic and paraplegics.
He has advanced his training with severely spinal cord injured over the last 3 ½ years. He brings his strength and dedication to the 1 on 1 physical training in the repetitive motions that are vital to the clients retraining and recovery.
Laura Nipp
Laura is new to P.A.T.H. Facility and we are looking forward to the experience and expertise that she brings to us.
Laura has a Specialized Honours Degree from York University in Kinesiology and Health Science as well as a Degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer. She is excited to be a part of the P.A.T.H. Facility.
Milah Smith (Volunteer)
Milah is graduating from the University of Victoria with her Degree in Kinesiology. Milah contacted us and offered her services as a volunteer. She is a wonderful person and the clients love her. We appreciate that she is offering her time and valuable service.
Caitlin Irwin (Volunteer)
Caitlin also comes to us from the University of Victoria she will also be graduating with her Degree in Kinesiology. It is a gift to the clients to have Caitlin work with them and to be a part of the friendly atmosphere that generates the gym.
The Volunteer Program is new and greatly appreciated by the staff and clients of P.A.T.H.
