Power Plate has come to PATH

We are now proud owners of a Power Plate (vibration training). The principle behind the Power Plate is that it creates instability in the human body through stimulating an involuntary reflex muscle contraction. With each vibration, the body is forced to perform reflexive muscle actions, multiple times per second. therefore for a spinal cord injury the increased stimulation will allow an increase in sensation, and/or better motor control, increased bone density and an improvement in circulation.

26-year old Jonathan Dieleman has an easy smile and a tireless work ethic. Raised on a cattle farm in Smithers, Jonathan was dirt biking last year when he hit a rock and broke his back. Jonathan was diagnosed a T-5 paraplegic
